“No beginning is too small when it’s built together.”
To mark the launch of Serac's first collection, LAP 1: Ash to Form, they hosted the first-ever community running event at Hyphaus in collaboration with Rawpath Run Club. More than a collection launch, the session brought together runners, friends and members of the community for a morning of movement and exploration across Kuala Lumpur.
Starting from Hyphaus Bukit Bintang on Jalan Sin Chew Kee, the route took runners through some of KL’s most recognisable destinations. Passing through Jalan Alor and Bukit Bintang before continuing towards TRX, and eventually making its way back to Hyphaus. The run offered a different way to experience the city, connecting its busy tourist districts with the quieter character of the old Nanyang street where Hyphaus calls home.
The session was also supported by Upbound, one of the drinks carried at Hyphaus, which provided electrolytes for the runners throughout the event.
For Serac, the run marked the beginning of a new chapter. For Hyphaus, it reflected what we believe retail can be — a place where brands, communities and people come together. From fashion and lifestyle to movement and culture, we want Hyphaus to be more than a destination to shop, but a space where new connections can take shape.
